Worked for me as well on a HTC Magic, Android 1.5, HTC Sense software update. The very first unlogic user interface discovered so far at this Android phone. Else it´s very intuitive - I have never read a tutorial or anything else - I just started to use it and this is the first thing I didn´t found out just by using the phone. Seems like there should be an alarm sound level setpoint slider available within the alarm settings menu instead of using the button on the side of the phone. At least for me it´s not very logic to use the physical button for this. Thanks a lot !
