Sorry to hear this fix didn’t work for you.

I have had issues with the alarm not triggering when it’s supposed to (which can be fixed by restarting the phone until it happens again), but that’s a separate issue.

If you do find a solution, it’d be great if you could come back and share it here so others can benefit from it.

didn’t work on my htc wildfire

still just showing the alarm clock animation without sound

this is extremely annoying… this kind of problem shouldn’t even exsist on a phone of this caliber, quite disappointed >_<

i overslept so many times since getting this phone!

Thanks so much for posting the solution to this irritating problem…was about to uninstall some apps to see if they had caused the sudden loss of sound.

Sara – to put own music as alarm you can use free app called Ringdroid…it allows you to use any sound file as alarm or ringtone or notification.
